Privacy Policy

This page describes exactly what this site stores and what it does not. It is written to match how the site actually works rather than to cover every hypothetical.

The short version

There are no accounts and no sign-in.
Your API keys never reach this server. They are stored in your own browser and sent directly to the AI provider you chose.
Your prompts and the answers are never sent to this server. They go from your browser to Anthropic, Google or OpenAI.
Your question history is stored in your browser only.
Two things are stored on the server: an anonymous daily counter, and any short link you deliberately create.
Third-party advertising may set cookies. See the advertising section.

What is stored in your browser

The following are kept in your browser's local storage on your own device. They are readable only by this site, are never transmitted to us, and are cleared when you clear site data.

Do not enter API keys on a shared or public computer. Anything in local storage is readable by anyone who later uses that browser profile.

What is stored on the server

An anonymous counter

When a question completes, your browser tells the server "one question happened". That increments a single number per calendar day. No identifier, no text, no address, nothing that could be tied to you is recorded. It exists to display the counter in the footer.

Short links you create

If you press Share and then shorten the resulting link, the full URL is stored so the short code can redirect to it. That URL contains your question in its query string. In other words:

Shortening a link stores the text of that question on our server, indefinitely, and anyone holding the short code can read it. This only happens when you explicitly click Share and then shorten. If you never use the shortener, no question of yours is ever stored here.

The AI providers

Your prompts and API keys go directly from your browser to whichever providers you enable. Their handling of that data is governed by their own policies and your own account agreement with them, not by this site:

Hosting and logs

The site is served by Cloudflare. As with any web host, Cloudflare processes request data such as IP address and user agent in order to deliver the page and protect against abuse. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy. We do not maintain our own analytics profile of visitors.

A short-lived, per-address rate limit applies to the link shortener to prevent abuse. It stores no durable record.

Advertising

This site displays advertising supplied by Google. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this and other websites.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
You can opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are shown a consent prompt before personalised advertising cookies are set, and may withdraw or change that consent at any time through the same prompt.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them. Using it requires an API key from a provider whose own terms set a minimum age.

Your choices

Remove your keys: press "Forget all keys" in the key panel.
Remove your history: press "Clear history".
Remove everything: clear site data for this domain in your browser settings.
Remove a short link: contact us with the short code and it will be deleted.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes to what is stored will be described here rather than quietly folded in.
